. If you are reading this and wondering how they would interact, I ask myself the same question. By becoming an Independent Truck driver, or worker or entrepreneur, you have the right to be independent and free, but if you are working for a Company that employees you, it is important to be part of their team. A good company will seek to foster camaraderie and loyalty: making you feel like a family member, as much as employees toiling for a salary. So, although you want to be independent and work by yourself. It is important that we all work together as a team. The people on our team, our drivers, are in front of customers, shippers, transportation managers etc. They represent us, every day, every load, and every shuttle. They go out each day looking to do a good job, and provide excellent customer service. Without this team in our front lines we could not move forward. We appreciate their Independence but their Esprit de Corps with us is the most important! So when you think “I am my own Independent person”, remember you don’t have the right to do as you please, but an opportunity to do what is right. (Peter Marshall) Have a great Independence Day!
